Precision mold design, mold manufacturing and assembly

1. Hardware Mold Design
Our mold design employs a "zero-based" approach to create ultra-precision, high-speed stamping dies. We break free from traditional practices and ideas, flexibly utilizing imagination and driven by a strong sense of curiosity to pursue higher-quality products. To ensure the long-term, continuous production of consistently high-quality stamped terminals, we minimize the impact of the stamping machine's dynamic accuracy, striving for "lightweight and compact mold manufacturing" that improves the precision and lifespan of both the mold and the stamping machine.
* 0.3mm pitch BtoB connector REC terminal (1*10 PIN) mold achieves a "die size of less than 200mm".
* 0.15mm pitch FPC connector terminal (8*10 PIN) mold achieves a "die size of less than 300mm".
To achieve the above mold manufacturing, essential high-precision mold parts (dimensional tolerance 0.001mm) are manufactured.

2. Mold Machining, Manufacturing, and Assembly
Based on the mold design drawings, and under the requirements of high-precision machining technology, ultra-precision high-speed stamping dies are actually manufactured.
In order to create an environment that does not cause the metal to expand or contract, and to prevent temperature differences due to season, humidity, time, etc., the processing is carried out in a constant temperature room (an environment with a constant temperature of 22 degrees Celsius).



Mass production processing & quality management, mold maintenance/care

Precision Stamping & Die Prototyping/Mass Production
1. To meet the demand for shorter market development cycles for new products, we have developed a short lead time of 3 weeks (from design to sample submission) to verify the stamping processability of the prototype dies and extract the necessary technical elements for stable mass production. This prepares us for vertical production launch. Furthermore, for complex shapes, if the terminals cannot be processed by existing stamping equipment, we will develop specialized machines to enable their manufacture.

2. Our dies are managed through a detailed ERP system. We implement best practices and high-precision maintenance for die adjustment processes, ensuring that "stamped terminal bending shape management" does not affect connector performance. Our 80 stamping machines stably produce over 7.5 billion connector terminals per month (actual value) for products such as narrow-pitch terminals used in precision connectors like FPC, RF, B2B, and EXMAX® HIGH-SPEED, automotive terminals, and close-fitting terminals.

* For 0.3mm pitch BtoB connector REC terminals, one stamping production line has a stable production record of over 300 million pins. Image dimensional measuring machines monitor the bending pattern of the entire die feeding process to prevent problems.

* For 0.4mm pitch floating connector terminals, one stamping production line has a stable production record of 20 million pins. An optimal mass production system suitable for QCD has been established (image inspection machines are standard on the mass production SPM600~1800 full stamping production line). To achieve automation and labor savings, the full stamping production line is also equipped with an automatic rolling machine. To ensure stable production of various connector terminals (meeting customer needs), custom specifications for precision stamping machines have been implemented. Mass production material ranges from t0.06 to t0.2 (various titanium copper/beryllium copper/brass/phosphor bronze/others). Downtime during material changes is minimized, and the production system is built accordingly.

3. Quality management system: The processing precision and quality of all product terminals, such as scratches and indentations, are all handled using NIKON imaging measuring machines, measuring microscopes, projectors, and other machines. We use the accumulated internal training and experience to conduct strict quality management, ensuring that any product that does not meet customer requirements will not be shipped.
