HF31C Series
Kyomori-Ka's compact HF31C series FPC connectors feature a 0.2mm pitch, 3.1mm mounting depth, and 0.9mm height. Weighing only 0.046 grams, the HF31C series is ideal for the growing wearable electronics market. The HF31C series also incorporates a metal locking mechanism that allows for horizontal insertion/removal of the FPC cable with a clear tactile click ensuring full insertion. The end tabs of the FPC cable securely hold it in place until the SLD actuator locks. The double-sided contact design utilizes a bottom contact spring for high reliability and signal continuity. This double-contact structure, along with the retaining spring, provides a 15.0N retaining force for the top contact and a 14.5N retaining force for the bottom contact.

Product Features
◆Space Saving
Pitch: 0.2/0.25 mm, Width: 3.1 mm (with actuator locked).
Gutters on both sides of the FPC cable secure it in place with locking clips.
Even at the smallest extreme points, the locking clips provide high FPC cable holding force.
The locking mechanism is movable, allowing for horizontal insertion of the FPC cable, providing a clear insertion feel when inserting and temporarily securing the FPC cable.
◆Reliable Upper and Lower Contact Structure
Both upper and lower contacts of the terminal block are designed with a flexible structure, so even when the FPC cable vibrates up and down, the terminal block will follow and maintain contact with the FPC cable.
◆High-Speed Signal Transmission
Excellent impedance characteristics and high-speed transmission.
Identical terminals (even-even or odd-odd terminals) can be used as a pair of differential terminals to provide excellent transmission characteristics.
Supports eDP (version 1.3), MIPI (D-PHY), and USB 3.0 standards.
◆RHOS compliant
Halogen-free
No chlorine or bromine exceeding standard values is used in the connector.
As defined in IEC 61249-2-21 standard.
