Product Features
◆Implementing Electromagnetic Interference Countermeasures Through Shielding And Grounding.
Safe grounding is achieved by connecting the metal shielding layer to the reinforcing metal fittings. (Example) 160 core: Upon mating, contact occurs in the following order: shield, power terminals, signal terminals.
Larger guide features facilitate the mating operation (the guide features also prevent reverse insertion).
◆Reliable Terminal Contact
The effective contact length of the signal terminal is 1.2 mm, which provides sufficient margin for the mating travel.
◆Equipped With Reinforced Metal Fittings To Enhance Weld Peel Strength.
Reinforcement components can enhance the peel strength of the circuit board during the soldering process; their unique structure allows for contact with the ground plane, thereby serving to reinforce it.

There are also models that omit the ground plate but increase the number of signal terminals to compensate for its removal.

The ratio of signal terminals to ground terminals is 10:1; they are connected directly from the ground plate to the circuit board using SMT to stabilize the ground line and reduce noise.
