Product Features
The space-saving design minimizes connector depth while ensuring the intake area does not interfere with installation. Minimum depth: 3.4 mm.
◆ The Product's Mating Height Has a Wide Variation Range
Despite the space-saving design, it offers mating height options of 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4.0 mm.
◆ High Terminal Contact Reliability
Products with a 1.5 mm mating height feature an effective mating length of 0.45 mm, making them one of the types with the longest mating lengths.
They provide satisfying tactile feedback (a distinct "click") to effectively prevent partial mating and incorporate a locking mechanism to
prevent disconnection, even with low mating force.
◆ Rugged Structure With Shock-Absorbing RibsThe ribs on the two connectors abut each other upon engagement, absorbing stress caused by impact.
◆ Product Assembly Fit And Self-Alignment
Since the guide ribs utilize the dead-zone space, the unidirectional self-alignment accuracy in both the X and Y directions is 0.33 mm.
◆ Compatible With High-Speed Signals And Noise
Shielded versions for high-speed signals and noise protection are also available, supporting USB4 Gen.2 (20 Gbps) transmission.
◆ Structure To Prevent Weld Lifting
The socket features a raised nickel barrier, and the plug is of one-piece molded construction, preventing the risk of solder wicking during SMT soldering.
◆ Splash-Resistant Structure
The contact areas on both connectors feature a barrier layer that prevents flux and other spatter from adhering to the contact surfaces.
◆RoHS Compliant
In consideration of environmental concerns, substances prohibited by the RoHS Directive have not been used.
