DF50A Series

The DF50A series is a board-to-board connector with a floating structure, supporting high-speed transmission and a mating height of 8-30mm. This series offers a minimum mating height of 8mm and a maximum of 30mm, and through variations in height and core count, it can meet the needs of different customers. Furthermore, a two-point contact structure ensures connection reliability, and the shape of the metal fittings reduces the risk of damage during insertion or removal, thus ensuring robustness. Motors and inverters used in hybrid vehicles and EVs (electric vehicles) often experience overheating and vibration issues. The DF50A series is a high-quality automotive-grade connector developed to support temperatures up to 140°C, even for use inside the engine compartment. With its vibration-resistant, floating structure, compact size (1mm spacing), and double contact points, this product can be used with confidence even in environments with continuous vibration and high temperatures up to 140°C.

0.5mm pitch floating connector, with vertical mating heights ranging from 8 to 30mm, contributing to the miniaturization of automotive equipment. It connects with 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, and 120 signal pins + 4 power pins, and the varying heights and pin combinations cater to diverse customer needs.
Floating design: X-direction: ±0.6mm; Y-direction: ±0.6mm.
 Utilizing a ① sandwich 2-point contact structure, this terminal offers high reliability in the vibration environment of automobiles. Furthermore, the ② metal fitting shape minimizes the risk of damage during insertion and removal, achieving high robustness.
Complies with the high-speed transmission standard MIPI D-PHY (8Gbps).

1. Return Loss (Reflection)
Based on terminal spacing, signal terminal width, distance to ground terminal, and dielectric constant of insulation material, impedance matching, including the floating component, reduces return loss.
2. Insertion Loss (Attenuation)
Optimized for the floating portion, including the terminal spacing, signal terminal width and thickness, and insulation material dielectric loss, to suppress resonance as much as possible, making insertion loss proportional to frequency.
3. Crosstalk (Leakage)
Optimized for differential pair terminals and ground pin allocation based on terminal spacing and transmission rate, to suppress resonance as much as possible and reduce crosstalk.
