HF82 Series
The HF82 series features enhanced ruggedness to prevent connector damage caused by handling errors during installation. It utilizes a rotating one-touch Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) mechanism and provides clear tactile feedback with an audible click upon assembly. Specifications include a 0.5mm pitch, bottom-contact front-flip lock design, and a height of 0.95mm.

◆Ultra-Low Profile, 0.5mm Pitch, 0.95mm Mounted Height
The ZIF structure is not subjected to direct force when inserting or removing the FPC/FFC cable.
The actuator features elasticity in the rotational direction, while the fastening method allows for gradual engagement starting from the point of applied force, ensuring excellent operability.
A cutout design prevents misalignment of the FPC/FFC caused by angled or shallow insertion.
◆Unique Integrated Cam Structure of the SLD Actuator
The unique structure of the integrated cam-actuator holds the FPC/FFC cable firmly at all contact points, ensuring a secure connection even with multiple contacts.
The notches on the FPC/FFC cable align perfectly with the retention features on the cover, facilitating smooth insertion.
The design prevents terminal deformation or damage, even if the FPC/FFC cable is subjected to strong pulling forces.
◆Suitable for 0.3mm Thick FPC/FFC Cables
Supports FPC/FFC cables with a thickness of 0.3mm, which is the standard thickness for 0.5mm pitch connectors.
(The moderate rigidity of the reinforcing plate prevents FPC deformation, thus avoiding problems during insertion and connection.)
◆There is No Need to Set a Pattern Keep-Out Area at the Bottom of the Connector
The underside of the connector is covered with resin to prevent terminal exposure, thereby imposing no restrictions on circuit board trace routing.
This allows for greater freedom in circuit board design.
◆Complies With RoHS Environmental Requirements
Halogen-free; enhanced countermeasures against solder wicking.
The connector does not contain chlorine or bromine levels exceeding the standard limits.
Defined according to the IEC 61249-2-21 standard:
Br: 900 ppm or less; Cl: 900 ppm or less; Br + Cl: 1,500 ppm or less.
◆Automatic Product Installation Mapping
Tape-and-reel packaging enables automated product installation.
Standard products come in reels of 5,000 pieces, though sample packs of 500 pieces per reel are also available.
The interface width in contact with the substrate is only 3.75 mm; it supports multi-pole connections, offers high reliability, and withstands drop impacts and vibration.
